Tactical managed the initial site master planning to select the best site based on Pacific National needs.

    Melbourne

A 540-hectare rail intermodal terminal with an industrial precinct is planned for Melbourne, situated west of the Central Business District (CBD) and port. This location was strategically chosen to service the existing freight demand zone, where logistics companies, warehouses, manufacturers, and distribution centres are concentrated.

Tactical managed the inital site master-planning, selecting the best site based on Pacific National needs. This included the evaluation of multiple intermodal and precinct layouts for different blocks of land, and an MCA analysis to ensure the selection of the most suitable correct location.

Additionally, Tactical managed the establishment of the Project Management Office (PMO), provided administration assistance for planning, rezoning, document control, and acted as the Utilities Lead during the technical development phase of the project.
