    Moorebank Intermodal Precinct: Import & Export Terminal

    This open access import-export freight terminal is designed to accomodate up to 1.05 million Twenty-foot Equivalent Units (TEU) per annum, and includes on-site freight rail sidings.

    Key features of the terminal are:

    • Direction connection to Port Botany via a dedicated rail siding, and to the M5/M7 motorways for the distribution of freight throughout the Greater Sydney Area
    • On-site Quarantine and Customs facilities
    • Locomotive traverser for improved rail productivity
       

    The Import and Export (IMEX) Terminal was constructed to facilitate fully automated container transport from rail to warehouse.

    Tactical were engaged to provide project strategy, project management, and contract administration services throughout all phases of the project lifecycle. Our extensive involvement in planning, functional layout and design, procurement and delivery set the project on a solid pathway for success.
