    The North West Rapid Transit corridor extends 22kms from the City Centre to Brigham Creek, connecting communities and providing greater public transport options for Te Atatu, Waterview, Westgate and more.

    Auckland

    The North West Rapid Transit (NWRT) project seeks to improve the North-Western corridor’s transport capacity users by creating a more reliable, resilient, and efficient transport network that drives economic growth and increased productivity for Auckland. The North West Rapid Transit corridor extends 22kms from the City Centre to Brigham Creek along the existing state highway, SH16, connecting communities and providing greater public transport options for Te Atatu, Waterview, Westgate and more.

    Tactical Groups involvement on North West Rapid Transit began in late 2022 and remains ongoing. Providing project management and procurement services for the NWRT Detailed Business Case and Westgate Station Pre-Implementation Phase. This has included:

    • Project and Programme Management
    • Chairing NWRT Project Steering Group
    • Auckland Major Projects Interface Management
    • Procurement Management
    • Project Controls
