    Papakura to Pukekohe Electrification

    The Papakura to Pukekohe (P2P) Electrification Project extended the Auckland Electrified Network from Papakura Station to the upgraded Pukekohe Station, complete with a new Operators Facility. The P2P project also included formation and platform installation works at the three new station locations for the upcoming Drury Rail Stations project.

    Tactical staff have provided the following services during the project.

    • Project Management support to the client during the ECI for the initial D&C Main Contract
    • Engineer’s Representative services for 4 separate Contract Packages
    • $46m enabling scope including 20km of ducts for new signalling systems, and construction of formation and new track assets at 5 locations during the 2021 Christmas Block of Line
    • $10m Formation rebuild and Platform installation for the three new station locations
    • $3m Operators Facility which included construction & fitout of a 400sqm purpose-built facility at Pukekohe Station
    • $50m OLE / Foundations Work Package which included final wiring installation, for energisation at Matariki and testing and commissioning of the new system
